Description
Solid Brass Tactile Indicator Strips
NOT A STOCK ITEM – TO ORDER ONLY
Tactile strips are laid in rows, perpendicular to the top and bottom of the stairs. The strips should be set back 400mm from the hazard (in order to provide advance warning) and should protrude (overshoot) the edge of the steps by 400mm each side (where the space is available)
For example, a 1mtr wide stair will require an area of 800mm deep (on the going / as you walk across) by 1.8mtr wide.
Dimensions:
280mm x 20mm x 5mm
Installation / Spacing:
Strips are spaced at 50mm centres – this means it takes 17 rows of strips to make up the required 800mm (800mm on the going).
We have a huge range of tactile ground surface indicators available:
– Tactile Studs
– Tactile Strips / Corduroy Strips
– Tactile Flooring
– Tactile Paving
– Surface mounted tactile strips
